missing mom

T was about 2 months away from giving birth to L, M was about 3 months shy of turning 2 years old. One of the first times that G left a party early and took M home to put him down for the night while T stayed.

after getting all washed up and changed into his superman pj's, looking out M's bedroom window into the night:

M: where's umma?

G: umma's at auntie jewel's house

M: i need her, can you get her?

G: umma will come home later

M: i want to fly like superman and jump over the cars and jump over the trees and fly over the houses and get her...i need her.

tammy's last drink (sometime in fall 2002)

had a small reunion in boston, there was a group trip planned and T was to join everyone after writing her cpa exam in maine. at legal seafood, enjoying the great company and private room, T wanted a celebratory drink, G had a bad feeling and suggested T refrain. But T was stubborn about it and had herself a margarita - non-virgin. T made it through the lobster bisque appetizer and began to feast on her fish when all of a sudden she wouldn't talk or eat. T bolted from the table and ran to the front door b/c she couldn't open her mouth to ask where the restrooms were. right out the front door she puked up her delicious meal. hick, who was having a break outside the restaurant, and unfortunately got cut out of the picture because the servers didn't think he was important, warned the line-up of people waiting to get into legal seafood to 'stay away from the bisque' and watched as some would-be patrons left the line. G turns a bit sour as he realises his fun that night would be comprimised, especially since he tried to avoid this whole situation by suggesting T not drink. G dropped T off at the hotel where she would sleep it off alone as the rest of the group partied it up in boston on the first night. T is exempt from ever having to drink.

Welcome to my blog

Greetings and welcome to my blog. The reason I decided to start this blog is so that I force myself to document some of the hilarious things our family goes through. I was inspired reading Tammy's stories on our website:

http://web.mac.com/tamkims/Site/Welcome.html

I had actually forgotten some of the details of those hilarious stories. I could easily write a novel describing some of the funny things our kids do and say.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I will try to update at least once a week.
